Orbit Pegasus Sport
The Pegasus Sport is the first model in our range with drop handlebars and Shimano road STI's for the pilot.
The frame is made for Orbit Tandems by Kinesis and is assembled by hand in our workshop in North Yorkshire. The Pegasus is responsive and easy to ride, the geometry gives it superb handling. The hubs and rims are available in 40 or 48 hole options and are also handbuilt by us. We recommend 48-spoke wheels for teams and luggage with over 160kg combined weight.
Our Orbit tandems are finished with components made by top quality manufacturers. The Pegasus comes with Shimano STI gearing, a Truvativ tandem chainset and Continental tyres as standard. So despite being our most affordable drop handlebar tandem the Pegasus is capable of being ladened to the gills and ridden long distances.
